Why paying per reply beats buying lead lists

Most sellers reading this have paid for leads before. The pattern is familiar: a monthly subscription, a list of contacts, and the discovery that four competitors bought the same contact on the same morning.

Two things are wrong with that model, and they are separate problems.

You pay before you know anything

A subscription bills whether the month was good or bad. A quiet month costs exactly as much as a busy one, which means the platform carries none of the risk and you carry all of it.

Paying per reply moves that risk. On MatchMyQuery you browse every live requirement for free, read the full detail, and spend credits only on the ones you choose to answer. A quiet week costs nothing, because you sent nothing.

The same enquiry goes to your competitors

This is the more expensive problem. When one enquiry is sold to several sellers, the buyer gets a burst of near identical calls, and the conversation becomes a price war before anyone has understood the requirement.

Here, a proposal goes to the buyer who posted, and to nobody else. Your price and your pitch are not circulated. The requirement is not resold behind you.

The arithmetic

A proposal costs 15 to 25 credits depending on category. The exact cost is shown before you send.

Credits are prepaid, in packs from ₹30, and purchased credits do not expire. At the 100 credit pack that works out at roughly ₹54 to ₹90 per proposal; at the 1,000 credit pack, closer to ₹30 to ₹50.

New accounts start with 40 free credits, and get 10 more each month. So your first proposals cost nothing at all.

What you are actually buying

Not a contact. A decision.

You see the budget, the location, the timeline and the structured specifics before you spend anything, which means you can tell a serious requirement from a vague one and skip the ones you cannot serve. That is the part a lead list never gave you, because a lead list is sold by volume and this is not.

The honest caveats

Buying credits happens in the app, not on this website. Alerts for new matching requirements are free in the app and as push notifications; email alerts are a paid channel. And nothing here verifies any seller, including you, so your reputation is built out of completed deals and reviews rather than a badge.
